Scars & Texture changes

Scars are the skin doing exactly what it’s designed to do — healing. The problem is that healing is not always tidy, and the result isn’t always what you want to live with.

Whether it’s acne scarring that’s been there for decades, a surgical scar that healed poorly, a hypertrophic scar that’s raised and uncomfortable, or texture changes that developed over time — each type responds to different approaches, and the right approach depends entirely on what you’re actually dealing with.

Complete removal is rarely achievable and it’s important to be clear about that upfront. Significant improvement — in texture, colour, depth, and comfort — is realistic with the right plan. Management may include collagen induction strategies, scar-specific procedural approaches, and combination techniques layered over time. Multiple sessions are typically required.

Assessment here looks at scar type, depth, location, age, and skin characteristics before any treatment is recommended. The goal is meaningful, sustained improvement — not a miracle in one session.
