Appointments
Choosing the right appointment can feel unclear.
This guide is designed to help you select the most appropriate place to start.
All care at Dr Sarah Anthony begins with medical assessment, education, and personalised planning.
-
Review of medical and skin history
Discussion of your concerns and goals
Clinical skin assessment
Skin analysis and standardised clinical photography, where appropriate
Explanation of suitable management options
Development of a personalised, evidence-based plan
Not all patients will proceed to treatment, and not all treatments are suitable for all patients.
-
As a doctor-led clinic, care is based on clinical assessment rather than pre-set treatments or packages. This allows:
Consideration of medical history and risk factors
Discussion of realistic expectations and limitations
Explanation of risks, benefits, and alternatives
Determination of whether treatment is appropriate — or not
In some cases, observation, skincare optimisation, or no treatment may be the most appropriate option.
-
Clinical photography and skin analysis may be used to support accurate assessment and to monitor changes over time. These images form part of your medical record and are managed in accordance with privacy and professional standards.
For accurate imaging, attending your appointment with minimal or no makeup is recommended. You may be asked to remove makeup for assessment.
